i didn't have a 5β in the entire month of June and EEEEKKK. y'all have no idea how happy i am. i knew i was going to love this book and ik it took me a bit to finally pick it up after waiting for so long for it but gosh i knew it was going to be a fav. and i love being rightπ Gabrielle won me over with this one and i can't wait to read the rest of her booksπ€ (currently reading When She Unravels and LOVING it!!)
Romolo had me a blushing, giggling mess the entire book. this man was SO gone for Mia OMFGGGGπ he fell first and HARD!!!! like obsessed, down BADπ€π€£ the yearning?!! WHEN IS IT MY TURN?!!!! and if you know me, you know i love me a sweet heroine and Mia is the definition of one. LOVE my girl so much!!! she was exactly what Rom needed!! also, she was shameless af in the spicy scenesπ€ we love to see itπ€π»

This book was perfect, I loved that it gave off Romeo and Juliet vibes, I loved how their relationship developed and how the characters grew together. I can't wait for the rest of the series!

I would've liked a TW on a certain part of Rom's POV, it was uncomfortable to read it tbh, but I could understand his pain better tho. Anyway, it was kinda nice, I had fun reading it and I am kinda curious of what's gonna happen next.

my mind is all twisted up with how good this book was. I knew a few chapters in it would be a 5βοΈ for me. Romolo & Mia were just absolutely everything. Their banter, the yearning, the secrecy. The way they both protected and helped each other heal was beautiful. This was absolute perfection and I cant wait to read about Cos & Fabi next
goddddd this boook this effing boook????? everytime Rom opened his mouth I was highlighting cause I couldn't resist. But other than that this book was EVERYTHING and I love it so much and I can't wait to read Fabi and Cosimo's story next π

one of the best mafia romance books I've read in a while! So glad I picked it up - rekindled my deep drive back into mafia romances.
so many good tropes in this one. THE YEARNING, especially from Romolo for Mia. WOW.
