I enjoyed the two timelines from the interview to the main storyline. I liked that the story was told from the male main character’s perspective. This book would make for a good October read 👻

I did not enjoy the middle of the book when we believed Leeds was cheating on Layla. However I think having a problem in the book that the reader does not like is what makes the book good. Glad everything was resolved in the end. I also didn’t believe Layla was going to survive at the end. Colleen Hoover had me hooked until the very end.

I'm still not sure what I feel about this book. It's the weirdest book I have ever read. I went into it without knowing much except that its a paranormal romance which means a human falls in love with a spirit/ghost and that's it. But the twists by the end of the book made me give this book one more star. I also liked how the story was laid out from the very beginning So, when we came at the end although we are shocked by it, but we could see that oh there were signs all over the book from the beginning. So, everything was very cohesive. Hence, 3 stars.

I am perplexed by the male protagonist in the book Leeds. What he feels and does in the bed and breakfast is just awful and makes sense why everyone hates him. But, it makes me wonder that if he wouldn't have stayed and did what he did (
i know he could've just used the laptop to communicate and didn't need Willow to possess Layla's body
), we would never know and
Layla would've been stuck in that house as Willow.
So, I'm again not really sure how I feel about Leeds. Anyway, none of the characters were likable.
