This was definitely one of the more enjoyable books, I liked the scene and the politics and I really enjoyed the explosions and Eric blood bonding Sookie. I also enjoy Edgington more in the books than his psycho alter-ego from the series.

Okay, FINALLY. We are officially back in business. After the last book—which felt like filler with a side of boredom—this one brought the drama, the chaos, and the vampire mess I live for.

So much was happening, but in the best way. There’s vampire politics, murder, explosions, scheming—it was giving True Blood, but make it stressful. And I was so here for it.

Let’s talk about Barry the Bellboy. First of all, I forgot how much I loved him. He’s just this awkward little telepath with a good heart, trying his best to not get blown up. Honestly? I’d read a spinoff about him. Barry deserves peace. Barry deserves snacks.

Now Quinn… I wasn’t sure at first, but I’m into it. He’s tall, protective, and doesn’t seem like a walking red flag, which is honestly rare in this series. I still don’t fully trust him, but I’m enjoying the ride. Eric, obviously, is still everything. Broody, smug, weirdly sweet when he wants to be—I get it, I’m not proud of it, but I get it. And then there’s Bill. Still a flaming dumpster of a vampire. Like, sir, go somewhere else. Literally anywhere. I don’t care if he’s trying to redeem himself—I’m done.

This book was fast-paced, had real stakes (pun intended), and actually moved the plot forward, which was refreshing. I stayed up way too late finishing it, and I have no regrets. If the next one keeps up this energy, I might forgive the entire last book.

Loved it, loved it, loved it!! This series of books is fantastic I cannpot get enough of Sookie Stackhouse, the various relationships she has throughout the books espeically with Bill then Eric had me hooked. Write more please!!!!!!!!!

Guuuuurrrrllllllll this one got cray. Bitches be so cray. I enjoyed the overall what the fuckery of this one even though I guessed the ending kind of. This one also was kind of grim because of all the dead people, but I guess that happens when you’re involved with vampires.

I enjoyed this. I think I may be done with this series as of right now though. This was the book that took me the longest to read and wasn’t overly exciting, but certainly the most dark

A Sookie Stackhouse is never boring and always has me hooked to the end!
