Loved the „She must be mad“ and „She must be an adult“ section. Some of them hit really close to home especially her poem „All I wanted was some toast“.
The other two were ok. I couldn‘t identify with them so it didn‘t really do anything for me. The poems felt very personal which can be a good thing but sometimes it‘s really difficult to relate if you have never experienced something like that before.

Overall I really enjoyed this collection of poetry.. some of the poems I could really relate to and they affected me a lot, others just weren’t really for me. But in general I thought the poems were nicely written and covered some important and relatable topics :) If you enjoy poetry about mental health and body image, etc. I would recommend this!

Honest, coming of age, organic yet mythical. A mix of imagery so creative and also very blunt and straight to the point.

went a bit crazy with the highlight function on my kindle but wow this woman has a way with words where even when i didn't necessarily relate to what she was saying i liked the way she said it.
