I know most people did not enjoy this book, but I will say that I found it a very satisfying conclusion to the Handmaid's Tale universe. The criticisms I see are often that the two teenage girls are too childish but I found them charming and, yes, childish, but they are only children. I feel that kind of ties together the points of the tragedy. Aunt Lydia is a lovely and complex character and while I feel some anger towards her, she was well written. This was a good read, if not an enjoyable one, and if you don't mind a lack of realism in the way things tie together, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Happy reading!

The Handmaid’s Tale is brilliant novel. A searing critique wrapped in a harrowing story. The Testaments, whilst well written and entertaining, lacks depth and often feels like poorly conceived fan fiction.

Me gustó mucho The Handmaid's tale y me gustó mucho su continuación. Pasaron varios años entre que leí uno y otro, me acordaba de todo, me acordaba de la serie y me perturbaba como la primera vez que lo leí. Quizás esta historia es más naif, pero lo pasé bien leyendo y eso es lo más importante.

Absolutely at the top of her game here. If you've kept up to date with the TV series there are extra ties in here that are great to read.

3.5 it was really good but a big complaint of mine was that it didn't really go with the story with the first book and the tv show(not saying it has to but it would be nice and to me better experience if It had). Overall, it was good and I really like this world I mean I don't want it to happen ever, but I find it interesting.
