I did enjoy the read, I enjoyed the story, I connected with the MC as a mother. I'm glad I read it. But I just couldn't identify with the struggle, like this isn't the worst America has done. It's good to learn about, but it's nothing new. I did enjoy the Author's note at the end, and I think she accomplished her goal. So on that end it would be 5 stars. But for me, not so much.
Moderate: Toxic relationship, Terminal illness, Forced institutionalization, Antisemitism, Ableism, Medical content, Gaslighting, Classism, and Abortion
