I loved this. My first audiobook, and it was so good. And as this being my first audiobook, it really heightened the reading experience. It was a whole new experience reading kiss scenes through Audio. Holy moly 🥵
I didn’t expect the magical elements of this, but I’m not complaining.
I loved Jack and Hazel. They were everything to me, and I loved seeing their bond grow.
I can’t say I liked Bernard all the much throughout the book - he never sat right with me.

"Ήταν απίστευτα εύκολο να πεθάνει κάποιος στο Εδιμβούργο. Οι άνθρωποι το έκαναν κάθε μέρα."
Το διάβασα σε χρόνο ρεκόρ γιατί απλά δεν ήθελα να το αφήσω από τα χερια μου. Στην αρχή το Μια ιστορία αγάπης με έκανε να νιώσω πως θα υπήρχε romance, που υπάρχει μην παρεξηγηθουμε, αλλά περισσότερο μιλάει για την αγάπη της πρωταγωνίστριας για την ιατρική. Μικρά κεφάλαια και χωρίς περιττές πληροφορίες. Η γραφή σε έβαζε στο κλίμα της εποχής αμέσως χωρίς να κρύψει ή να ωραιοποιησει τίποτα. Αρρώστιες, οι γυναίκες κατώτερης τάξης με θέση μόνο να παντρευτούν να κάνουν διαδόχους και να είναι διοργανώνουν δεξιώσεις,θάνατος και κλέφτες πτωμάτων γιατί έτσι μαθαίνανε ιατρική.
Δεν είναι το είδος που διαβάζω συνήθως αλλά αν θέλετε κάτι διαφορετικό τότε διαβάστε το. Ανυπομονώ για το επόμενο βιβλίο ήδη.
