I binge-watched season 1 and 2 of this show. I love, loved it so I wanted to read the book to compare. It was definitely a different story line. Simple, clean, easy. Good story for a winter afternoon.

Sweet light Christian romance set in early 1900s Canadian West. An old favorite from childhood.
A little fluffy for my liking. I need a bit more drama and romance in a book. But just like a Hallmark movie, it was such a good, safe book to get lost in for a moment knowing how it would end. Such a great reminder of simpler times and a good rejuvenation for this teacher in the 21st century.
