I just couldn’t get through it. I appreciate that it was a clever way to tell about the horrible history and politics of Sri Lanka, but I’m just not that interested.

Surreal, witty, and just so chillingly beautiful- this book is unlike anything I’ve read before in the best way. The use of second person pov is rarely done, and is rarely done SO WELL imo.
