Engaging like all King. Letdown at the end.

A really engaging book that goes fast - I had trouble putting it down. Loved the characters, the true crime element and the mystery thing f what Jamie saw. I also love the narrator’s voice. A fun read.

was really good overall and would probably recommend to someone who likes ghost stories but i feel like it took awhile to get to the main point.. like not really bc it was not even half way through the story that liz brought Jamie to help her out with the bomber but like… what was the point of all the stuff in the beginning? idk it wasn’t completely irrelevant but kinda feels like it was. i did really like the older neighbor that he brought food to he was a sweet old man. the last 60 ish pages were very fun and very unsettling though.. liz running down the stairs is kinda a haunting image. i definitely didn’t hate or even dislike it by any means i enjoyed reading it the whole time but it just didn’t change my life

This is a solid King novel. Pretty scary in places, and I enjoyed the premise of a kid able to see the dead.
