If you want an unreliable narrator, pick this book up.

The story is told from the POV of the adult main character so you know he's going to survive through all the shit that's going to happen to him. What we won't immediately know, is how he is at the end of it. I am a little dumbfounded of the revelations at the end but also questioning what I should believe.

This book makes me excited to pick up King's more recent books though I still have a ton of his older works to go through.

Was the first book I read this year (starting late in March) but I LOVED it. Got me out of a reading slump and i devoured it within two days. It is a thin book however, so that was easy to do.
Story is about a little boy that can see and talk with ghosts for a short period of time before they vanish. Loved the topic, it had me captivated from the first page.
Stephen King is an amazing writer and he manages to write such good characters that you can instantly relate to. I loved the kid - mother dynamic a lot, even though that is usually not my cup of tea. Also how the boy gets used to his powers, learns from them and lives through the most crazy stuff with them was absolutely fascinating. It made me wonder what it would be like to have these powers myself.
Would have been a five star read if I felt compelled to re-read it. But maybe that's simply something for later, when the book has aged a little bit.
Definitely worth a read!

This was a 4 right until the end. Continuing the time honored tradition of me loving King books until the inevitable disappointment of an ending.

V. C. Andrews you are not, my guy.
