To be honest I really loved this book. I remember I was sick and wanted to read something and my choice came here. I loved the plot the aesthetic and more. There were really great moments. Also love that we read the main characters thoughts and there at the end of story is really starting get creepy.

This book sucked me right in. I read the whole thing in one day. It's a crazy story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's scary and is full of surprises. Another great book by Stephen King.
Jaime Conklin sees and talks to the dead. His mother encourages him to hide his secret, but soon it becomes vital to their survival, then it becomes a scary threat to them all. While the label may say "Hard Case Crime," and there are elements of a noir crime novel in this, it truly is a horror novel with very scary and creepy moments. A fun ride.

The character Development was really good in this book. None Of them we're perfect, but They did the best they could with what they had. I am hoping that King will make this a series... Because I need more!!!

stephen king's commitment to bad endings is so strong that even when he comes up with a perfectly solid and natural end to a story, as he does with this one, he still adds on thirty pages so he can give you a final, bad ending after that. I respect the consistency, honestly.
I want to give a huge FUCK YOU to Mr Stephen King who wrote such an amazingly thrilling/terrifying novel and had the AUDACITY to end it with such a cliffhanger ending.
