Jeszcze nie czytałam tak krótkiej opowiastki w wykonaniu Kinga. Przyzwyczajona do czytania bardziej opasłych i niejednokrotnie przegadanych tomiszczy, trochę się zdziwiłam, że historia ma lekko ponad 200 stron, więc dla mnie była do łykniecia w jeden wieczór.
Nie wiem w sumie co o niej myśleć, bo takie najgorsze toto znowu nie jest, ale czy aż tak dobre, żeby dać jej AŻ 7 gwiazdek? Też nie. Niby to horror więc powinno straszyć, a wcale nie straszy - wręcz bawi w niektórych momentach. King mnie przyzwyczaił do całkiem innego stylu i tego mi najbardziej w tej książce brakowało.

The initial plot is too similar to The 6th Sense, but the divergent character and plot couldn’t be more different. Same skeleton, totally different organs. I'm not mad at it, I just thought it was worth mentioning because probably a lot of reviewers will rip on the book for that.
We probably wouldn’t have The 6th Sense without The Shining. Who wrote that again?
Fun, FUN, short novel. And on audio, BRILLIANT narration.
