The Chainsaw Man series has fully gotten into its stride now, this was one of my favourite volumes so far! It’s so funny at times, and the lack of Power was absolutely made up for by Asa/Yoru

I heard the kill bill sirens going off at the end of this volume.
It’s not that I’m not enjoying this new arc it’s just that I’m unsure if I’ll ever feel the emotional resonance part one was able to draw out. That was so draining I guess maybe that’s a good thing.
It’s only been two volumes and the next few chapters are pretty hilarious, and I know that I wasn’t invested in part one from the get-go so I’m certainly not in danger of abandoning this, but I don’t really care for Asa aside from the sick art I see of her.

I’m so tired of Denji and the slew of women who torture him. Please just leave him alone he’s been through so much.
