I have no words for just how much this book effected me. Dirk & Saylor... I don't think I will ever be able to hear those names without crying. I had to stop reading numerous times because my glasses kept fogging up. This book was an emotional roller coaster that was so hard to ride but so worth the trip. It took me almost a full day to recover from my emotional hangover. You think you know whats going to happen but there is always a twist! (I know this is NOT the greatest/most descriptive review but seriously this story is just incredible.). A week later and I feel like Dirk & Saylor are still with me.

I want to leave the worst review ever! I knew from early in the book that my heart was going to ripped from my chest. It was oh my god was it. So unlike any MC book I have read but I love it. I really really really loved this book. But Jesus H Christ! This is what I get for starting a book and not reading what it's about or any of the reviews. I just wasn't emotionally prepared. Beautifully written and such a wonderful heart wrenching love story!

3.5 Gut-wrenching stars

This book was pretty good throughout. But that ending, even though I knew what was coming after reading spoilers, just about did me in. And books that make me feel get higher ratings, even if the feelings aren't necessarily pleasant. It just demonstrates the skill of the author. I will be listening to the next book.

I listened to the audiobook version, and the narrator was awesome.

Edit: It's been a couple of weeks, and I'm about to listen to Shady's story and I'm tearing up all over again. This book is really leaving an impact on me.
