This was my favorite of the series!!! Vlad has always been loveable, but this pushed it over the edge. I loved this book so much!

CWs: mentions of sex trafficking, physical assault

Contemporary romance, by definition, is a genre ruled by predictability. Where others see this as a flaw, I see it as a challenge to both reader and writer. How much can this author make me care about these two people who, by rule, will end up happily ever after? How will they engage me in a conflict that I not only know will resolve, but pretty much know how as well, before I even open the book?

There's no way, after reading dozens of romances, I could be impressed anymore. Charmed? Sure. Swooned? Maybe. Moved and stunned and motivated and affected? No way.

Enter: Lyssa Kay Adams.

The Bromance Book Club series is unquestionably my favorite romance series out there today. A big cast of quirky, hot characters pull you in on page 1 every time. And book 4 was no exception.

Isn't it Bromantic? delivers on every level--a funny, sexy slow burn with what I consider to be the sweetest, hottest, and most infinitely likable male lead in the genre today, Vlad. He's the character none of us knew we needed but now can't live without.

This book quickly became my favorite in the series, but please know the series is best read in order. And if I've sold you enough to start from the beginning, thank me later. You're in for a real treat.

I find this one so hard to rate, but I'm sticking with 3 stars. I really loved seeing more of Vlad (The Russian) in this one. I thought he was a severely underdeveloped character in the previous books. All we knew about him was that he was Russian, kind of weird, and may or may not have been lying about having a wife. However, we got to see so much more of him and really fall in love with his character as much as the other members of the club.
However, a big problem for me was Elena. I couldn't stand her from the moment we finally met her. This book was sort of a 2nd chance romance mixed with the miscommunication trope. This is the first time I've read one of these books and not liked a character we are supposed to like even in the slightest. Every time something happened between them, I was thinking Vlad deserves this and deserves to be happy, but Elena does not deserve him AT ALL.
I also thought the chapters after 24 were kind of redundant. The author kind of randomly added something to divide them as if they weren't divided enough through the entire book thus far. It didn't need to happen.
In conclusion, I really loved Vlad, his story, and all of his happiness, I just wish it came from someone else. I CANNOT wait for the next book in this series. Elena has nowhere near ruined the series for me, I just hope we see her a lot less in the next one.

I really wanted a lot more from this book. All of the other books in this series were 5 stars for me, but this one was disappointing.

if vlad konnikov has a million fans, then i am one of them. if vlad konnikov has ten fans, then i am one of them. if vlad konnikov has only one fan then that is me. if vlad konnikov has no fans, then that means i am no longer on earth. if the world is against vlad konnikov, then i am against the world.

This was one book I been waiting for since beginning of Bromance Book Club series.
Vlad (aka The Russian) and Elena book is childhood friends-to-lovers and a marriage of convenience all stuff I love but it's full of misscomnication trope .
The side characters were an absolute treat to read, especially guys together. Vlad is best part of this book everything else I didn't care about.
In end cute book.

9/10 - man these are just the best, tbh this one is rated as one of the highest, but i still think undercover bromance was the best, now the little pulse quickening thriller part of this one, LOVED THAT, but this was just great i don’t have much else to say
