3.5 these books are so extra and I love them so much. Did not think she could give the Russian so much depth. Love these guys.

I'm having a lot of trouble keeping all the book club members straight, I thought there was about 4 but there is like 7?! Also the
Spoiler weird cheese guy/ the Russian's weird drug-like obsession with cheese really pulled me out of the narrative
I'll keep following the series because they are a fun escape but I'm not sure I'll re-read.

A virgin hero who has waited his whole life to be with his childhood best friend who he married so she could move to America but he’s secretly in love with her? Swoon.

I can’t deny that Russian guys are my fav. (looking at you Christan Allister & Kova)

Vlad (aka Vladdy Daddy in my head) made this book swoon worthy. He isn’t afraid to cry, reads romance novels and literally runs to the heroine when he’s injured and he ends up falling on his feet… no like literally.

Vlad was an overall amazing character and I loved how he portrayed a lot of his insecurities through writing. The way all his friends encouraged him throughout writing the book and helped him see how Elena loves him just like how Anna loves Tony. (The characters in the novel he is writing)

What made this book really amazing?! The fact that Vlad is comfortable crying. In front of his wife and his friends and no one shames him for his emotion. No one shamed him when he told them he was waiting for Elena and he was a virgin. I was a major simp for Vlad in the scene where he told Elena he was a virgin.

Safety info:
Virgin H/ non virgin h
h has been celibate for at least six years (when they got married)
No OM/OW drama. There is a woman who likes Vlad but she doesn’t get with him because she knows he will forever love Elena even though Elena gave the woman her permission to date Vlad (long story)
No mention of h’s sexual past but we know she isn’t a virgin
No condoms (she’s on birth control)
