Infinity stars, I’m mad, I’m sad, I’m happy. Luka Mors… my god, Tessa. Eliza, Razik. Xan. Multiple dragons! Theon making good, selfless choices? So much to discuss. This is one of the best books I’ve read the last 12 months and joins her other two phenomenal reads.

I am a Tessa and Luka girly through and through as I always just knew they were bigger than Legacy and primal or direct descendants of the Gods, and they are. I knew he was the perfect match for Tessa and leading into this read, I absolutely DESPISED Theon, truly. Go check out my last review 🤣 I didn’t think I would ever want him to be redeemed and I even hate the name Theon based on him and Greyjoy. Anyway, I really did feel that Melissa did a great job giving him a POV but also taking a back seat because Tessa truly needs Luka in the moment [the whole Achaz journey].

I do feel for Theon and think that both him and Luka will be alive and end up with Tessa as the perfect pairing for her “not supposed to be alive” God/Goddess ancestry. To be honest, it’s too much sometimes with all the Gods names and trying to follow it all. Melissa, I need a family tree at this point!

I loved the multi-POV and getting Axel, Theon and Luka was awesome. I was surprised to see Eviana but clearly she is part of a larger picture. I’m mad Tessa would withhold such important information from Luka about Xan, his father. All book long I kept wondering why the hell she wasn’t going to say anything especially with Luka really embracing the brooding, only-one-of-my kind vibe. Meeting Eliza and Razik without reading Lady of Darkness series was amazing and I loved the Razik, Luka and Xan moments.

What made my whole book experience? It wasn’t even the crawl scene or Luka scene or Melissa hurting MY feelings by saying Theon is longer than Luka. So, what was it? Razik and Luka as dragons flying in to save the day and light up everyone with that smoke…. Dragons 🐉 give me the dragons!

Guys, I can’t stop ranting as I am obsessed with his series. This is my top 3 favorite series of all time and I need Book 4 like NOW! ♥️⚔️🩶

First of all, I absolutely love the recap of the previous book at the beginning of the book. Why don’t all authors do this? It is so helpful especially if you’re not able to read the books back to back/if there’s a long gap between book releases.
