i’m so torn. i’ve really enjoyed this series thus far, but this book just didn’t meet my expectations. while i enjoyed it, i think this book felt more like filler? the world building this deep into the series also just felt unnecessary especially when book 4 is the final book of the series so i’m hoping it’s
When I say this book altered my brain chemistry, I'm not lying in the slightest. The tears I've shed over this one. The things I learned about myself and the world in relation to Devram and survival are unparalleled. And Melissa's message to the reader at the end?! UNMATCHED.
The ending of our time in Devram had me SOBBING but it was so beautifully done. I never wanted Theon to let her go, as Tessa never did either, but he would always come for her and always sacrifice the most for her. I pray she realizes the love he has for her in this very heartbreaking goodbye. Or preferably it becomes a "sike" we're all back together in book 4 moment?!

Now why did the author do that. I hate these characters and yet I love them more.

It’s a good read. But I still have issues. And “it might change fate so we can’t tell you”, gets old really fast!
