Grayson is just a wow character!
"Grayson Cole's eyes will stop your heart, but his lips will get it going again..."
This book gave me so many feelings I devoured this story and loved these characters.

I would highly recommend this story. I'm a sucker for second chance romance so I knew it was a winner for me. Throw in a sexy military guy a lil bit of a forbidden luv and I m hooked. I really like this authors writing. The stories alway flow so well. I was dying to know how things would work out for this pair. They were just meant to be together.

What I liked/Didn’t Like: I love the way the author dealt with the grief and the PTSD issues in this story. I also loved that the heroine was the really strong person in this book. Well written with wonderful characters.

Make You Mine was everything you come to expect from Tia Louise. Drew and Gray's forbidden, second chance military romance was so beautifully written, a rich and masterfully woven story with heartache and longing, and a steamy and sweet romance. It tugs at the heartstrings whilst delivering a very satisfying romantic HEA and I just adored it.

I love a book that hits me with all the feels. It was sweet, it was infuriating and it was deliciously sexy. It delivers a barrage of all kinds of emotions both the ones that tear you up and the kind that soothes that hurt. From the unforgettable childhood moments that brought Drew and Gray together, to the raw devastation that tore them apart, this story held me in its grip the whole way through. I honestly felt it all.

Make You Mine is what I love about Tia Louise's writing. Angsty, sexy, funny and emotional. It was the perfect kind of book to lose yourself in. Drew and Gray are a special couple. This is one swoon-worthy couple that you will want to read about time and time again. They are exactly the kind of ‘book couple’ that you will fall in love with. You'll be on the edge of your seat experiencing their epic love story and holding your breath for their happily ever after. I highly recommend this 5 star read!!!

It was an okay book. The whole thing just feel too rushed through for me. Especially the last 50 or so pages. Too rushed and not enough story development.

Grayson Cole has always been treated like he wasn't worthy. An orphan that his uncle raised in a small town mechanic shop. His best friend Danny Harris took him in. The two of them were inseparable. Danny, the golden boy of the town with the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. His sister is four years younger. Her senior year, Andrea or as her friends call her Drew decided that she was ready to cash in on her childhood crush on her brother's best friend.

Grayson joins the military right after completing college with Danny. Both of them are deployed together in Africa. A few things change for both men that changes everything. Grayson blames himself for the events that occur. He also comes home with PTSD.

Grayson doesn't return to the small town after his deployment instead he flies to where his aunt lives under hospice care. He remains with her until the uncle who raised him passes away. His uncle left Gray his mechanic shop and the family heritage (which I won't tell you what exactly that is to keep from spoiling a plot point). Gray returns to the small town to heal himself. At first, he lies to himself about why he's back. He doesn't admit that he's back for Drew.

A few towns people are against Gray's return. Drew's heart skipped a beat just saying his name, let alone seeing him standing in his uncle shop. He looks sexier and more built than he did before. Drew's work at a local behavioral therapy clinic with her best friend helps her realize what she really wants. How he father's addiction is not something that she can cure him of. He has to help himself.

Secrets have a way of coming out. Drew has one that she's keeping from Gray. Gray has more than a few he's keeping from Drew. One of the pertains to Danny.

Ok I have been sitting here trying to decide how I want to do this review. Tia Louise has out done herself with this book. I had so many emotions while reading it was kinda like being on a rollercoaster and I loved it!!. I laughed and I cried while reading it was like I was a part of the story. I love books that can draw me in like this.

Drew and Gray were relatable characters as well as the story. Their love started as a childhood infatuation and moved into unwavering love. The heart break they endure and the journey they take to get back to each other is amazing. I know that sounds crazy to say, but sometimes you need to go through hell to get to heaven.

As young children Gray was Drew's personal hero. He always seemed to be there for her when she needed him. When they got older the infatuation moves on to something more. They keep the something more to themselves, since Drew's father doesn't approve of Gray.

Gray and Danny (Drew's) older brother are bestfriends and are thick as thieves. They join the military together and leave for their time overseas together. While over there a mission goes bad and a life altering action occurs. When Gray makes it back to the states he has changed and is dealing with the actions of that fateful day.

While I could continue to go on and on about this book I'm not going to. If you love second chance romance stories where the hero is a true hero and the heroine is a woman that knows what she wants and is not afraid to fight for it then you will really enjoy this story.

What a roller coaster ride of emotions this newest book by Tia Louise took me on. Grayson and Drew’s journey to their happily ever after was bumpy. They knew each other as kids, Drew was Grayson’s best friend’s little sister, their story was the forbidden kind. Grayson is constantly reminded how he is not good enough and is even threatened to keep his hands off of her, but with their chemistry, it was inevitable. When Drew turned 16 and Gray 20, they finally gave into their feelings, but had to hide it from everyone. I was so angry with how Gray was treated in town, this eventually made Gray realize he really was not good enough. So when he and Danny, Drew’s brother, have orders to serve 4 years overseas, even though Gray promises to return to Drew, he told her to move on. My heart broke for Gray with what he endured while serving. There were a few scenes with Danny that made me cringe, again with emotions all over the place, I was angry, and then so much sadness. Gray finally returns home, but he has changed, he is suffering from PTSD and is so lost. He still feels like Drew can have better than him, but when she finally gives up and tries to move on, Gray is reminded what Drew really means to him and knew he could not let her go. But again, the feelings of unworthiness rears its ugly head, but this time Drew refuses to give up.

I debated quite a bit on what to rate this book. I really had some issues with the townsfolk, Danny and their father. They made me so angry! But both Drew and Gray had such strength and compassion and the love they had for each other made this a 4-star read for me.

*swoon*

I had never read a novel by Tia before and I think I picked the perfect one to start with.

Also as soon as Remi was introduced I knew he was the guy for Ruby! I can't wait for their book!!
