I love a nice grumpy man, Cade, fits the bill! To me, this was a nice light hearted Romance.

The banter was really good that’s what I think really pushed my writing to be over three stars because they’re banter was like really really good.

You could feel the tension in their words which I especially loved, because they coincided with their hidden actions. Which I hope that made sense to you.

But other than that the spice was a two for me. I didn’t love how sassy she got, especially when it came to Luke.

Would recommend if you like light hearted, single dad, cowboy, that’s grumpy.

I liked this better than FLAWLESS. I loved Cade and Willa, but I'm not the biggest fan of Elsie Silver's writing. One minute Cade and Willa would be sharing a sweet moment and then he would be talking about how aroused he was. I rolled my eyes a lot. And I didn't like how possessive Cade was. I did love the banter in the texts between Willa and Cade and Willa's relationship with Luke. And I think I'm invested now to the point where I'll continue the series. But, if I'm honest, I still don't get the hype.

Favourite quote: "The hair on the back of my neck stands on end as I drop my head toward her. Everything around us fades away. I don't know how she has this knack for telling me the things I crave. Tracing my insecurities the way she does. Soothing the hurt she doesn't even know exists."

Surprisingly I like Cade and Willa better than I liked Rhett and Summer! They're chemistry and banter kept me on my toes the whole book. Throw in Luke and you make an almost perfect grumpy sunshine single dad romance. My one complaint is the same as the first book, any conflict is due to miscommunication. In this book its more due to one of them talking over the other and then storming out. The cuteness bumped it up .25 stars!
