There is a storm raging outside and Bear is scared. Bear and his friends will get through it together, just like they always do. Another great story about Bear! This is a great series that is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who will definitely relate to Bear and his feelings.

Poor Bear! In this one he is lost in the woods in a storm, or so he thinks, and his friend's grow worried while he grows scared. Easy to empathize and teach inference (why might Bear be scared, from looking at the cover?). This was very cute!

I love the characters, the illustrations, and the feel of Karma Wilson's books. They're SO easy to visualize for story time too. This one would be great for adding ASL.

Bear Feels Scared is an adventure story. It's another great book for a group story telling. Its sing-song lines keep the flow smooth and the action strong. The illustrations are beautiful.

We had fun play acting this story after reading! We took turns being scared bear and the others would find us and help us feel better

The illustrations are lovely but the plot and poetry of this book aren't quite as fetching as Bear Snores On, which I lover and never mind reading over and over and over.

This book encourages children to find ways to help themselves cope or feel better when they are scared. The book has rhyming and cute pictures to enhance the story. It would be great for a social emotional lesson set on fear.

I liked this. The rhythm and rhyme are similar to Bear Snores On, and work well. Poor Bear gets lost in the woods during a storm, and feels scared and alone. His friends, back at his den, get worried about him and go find him and bring him home safe and sound. A good story about feeling scared, even if you're a big giant bear. Would use for Scared/Brave storytime.

Poor Bear is alone and the woods and it's getting dark. Thank goodness he has his friends to come find him.

I adore Bear books! The rhyming is so effortless (unlike other writers who try too hard) and fun to read. The illustrations are incredible--the animals are adorable and the colors used in the backgrounds are saturated and beautiful.

Love, love, love Karma Wilson and the Bear series. In this installment, Bear becomes lost in a storm (only 10 feet from home, as it turns out). As always, his friends come to the rescue and all is well that ends well. Preschooler now selects these books from the library shelves herself. So glad we came upon this series.
