Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. A must read.

I bawled like a baby at the end of this book. It was SO inspirational! It really shows the reality of the horror of our world's history. It gave me SO much perspective, because even though Hitler is not alive and reeking havoc, so many things just as horrible if not more are happening around the world, as we speak. A great quote is: "If we ignore history, we are condemned to repeat it." This book is a great example to help notice history and be wary of repeating it. This is a profound example of a great, great beauty discovered through pain: God's love for us.

The author is a Dutch national that survived the infamous Ravensbrück concentration camp. In this book she presents her story, which shows her remarkable strong faith and amazing ability to forgive.

This book, I am certain, will change my life forever.

Not-to-be-missed memoir of a lovely Dutch family helping Jewish families during WWII. This one moves the soul in ways not many stories can. I want to have the faith of Corrie and her precious sister Betsy.
