I ended up liking this way more than I would have if I read this in print form. The audiobook had a lot of life and made things easy to follow.

I'm glad I finally read this play, because I love stories about Faustian bargains. However, I had already started to dislike the title character during the first half, and part two was a bit chaotic even for me.

In conclusion, Madoka Magica did it better.

Nice palette cleanser from my usual reading. While the play is centered around Faust’s fall and redemption (in later parts), Margaret felt like the truly tragic figure.

Enjoyed the German Version better, the English translation has confused me.
