Someone find N.K. Jemisin lemme give her a kiss. She really sat and put pen to paper and got to WORK. What a book, I think i still get high thinking about it. Jemisin the woman that you ARE. The first few pages took sometime to settle into because I was like what the FUCK is she talking about but girl when I finished the book, I had to go BACK to certain points because I realized that things went over my head because I didn't know at the time of reading, wow wow wow wow wow

I liked the general style and structure for the most part. But there was some shoddy worldbuilding and outright amateurish writing at points that made it hard to take the book seriously.

"La Quinta Stagione" di  N.K. Jemisin è un fantasy con una struttura veramente innovativa e un world-building veramente originale e sfrutta queste sue particolarità per raccontare una storia di ingiustizia sociale e di amore veramente molto godibile. I personaggi sono abbastanza mediocri, nulla di sbagliato ma si vede che erano un mezzo per trasmettere il world-building e le discussioni tematiche.

In Conclusione un buon fantasy che presenta anche concetti sci-fi, e utilizza il suo ottimo world-building per fare un esplorazione di temi già visti in maniera fresca e innovativa.
