Aunque no es un mal libro, tampoco es la gran cosa. Entretenido pero olvidable.

Rounding up from 3,8.
I think this book deserves a second read, I have the feeling I missed many subtleties. But even so, I can already say that I see why it’s often described as similar to One Hundred Years of Solitude. Not quite as strong but still very enjoyable and full of characters I rarely see in my usual reads.

This novel is weird! Concept, content, resolution, everything! Whilst I liked the idea of a man reincarnated as a gecko narrating the story, it just seemed a bit too objective. You didn't finish the story knowing much about any of the characters, and the strands of the story just didn't knit together well. Disappointing, as the idea was a gem!
