This is the right way to learn about economics. Bad ideas becoming fashionable over and over again, as well as people who invented them and held them.
The book gets 4 instead of 5 because the author uses far too many names. I do understand that this is what history is, but at the end of the book 2, I already forgot most of the people he was talking about, and the book would be a much better one if he a) omitted the boring details b) made the boring details into interesting details.
Nevertheless, it makes me really sad that the author didn't finish the whole set. I miss the volume 3 already
