I fucking love Sara cate — the woman just knows how to write spice and get the juices flowing — I’ve needed a mop, bucket and bib for every single book in the salacious players club series —and this one is no exception — if you cream over an age gap, forbidden romance, brat & femdom dynamic — impact play, sensory depravation, a bit of backdoor action — and a lot of spice in your books — then you’re going to go feral for Mercy — the story follows Beau & Maggie — Beau is Maggie’s business partners son, 12 years her junior and has a very complicated history with his father and view of kink — Maggie co-owns the salacious players club — an exclusive members only kink club — with her best friend who is also Beau’s dad — and has been so unfulfilled with sex and relationships that she doesn’t even try anymore — everything changes for both of them when for different reasons they both take an online kink quiz — it’s all completely anonymous — and they hit it off chatting online right from the start — deciding it was time to meet, they attend one of the clubs weekly masquerade nights — where Maggie takes beau into the dark room to play — things are going finger bangingly well and Maggie is shook to her core when she has her very first o that wasn’t a diy job — that shaking turns into a cyclone of panic when she realises who exactly it is she just got dirty with — 😮 — oh no it’s her best friends stupidly hot, massively hung son — 😮 — and this is where things start to get super juicy — they’re both on this journey of discovery and learning together and they both come a long way — and a lot — i love me a good forbidden desires storyline and bratty characters — beau definitely could have been brattier though — and watching both our mcs step into, accept and thrive in their newfound roles was quite nice to read — they grow well together — and once their dirty little secret is out, they’re able to truly step out into the light and be together fully with no shame and no secrets  — 4 🌶️
