it started off strong and went downhill. I think the story was too long--it probably could've ended 100 pages earlier. I started out loving the characters and ended up disliking both.
it was very cringey, the "spice" was mild at best and it was the same sex scene over and over again. a lot of the writing was repetitive. the timeline didn't add up and it was weird to find out that months had passed and the reader wasn't made aware of it.
I was looking forward to this series as it's been on my TBR for a while. won't be continuing.

Spice:🌶🌶🌶 (towards end)
Wow, what am emotional roller coaster. IMO, this was more than a romance, it showed the reading how the MC’s adjusted through their traumas. And boy, were there trauma in this book. The MC’s leaned on one another to help the other, and solely helped them become closer than ever. Both MC’s were very sweet and kind. This is one of the first Roma Ed I have read were the MMC was the sweetest from the beginning, and towards the end he GROVELS to get her back. Beautiful read. I have this a 4.25 stars bc the beginning was a bit on the slower side, but I’m happy I pushed through that bc it just got so beautiful.
