Inspiring story of how God will honor you if you honor Him
hopeful informative inspiring medium-paced

I think DeVon Franklin is an amazing young talent and this is only the beginning of an a great career for him. I liked this book as he compared the movie making process to building a career. At some points the metaphor did not fully connect with me, but I was able to still rock with him. What was also a tiny disappointment was that the book was written from a religious point of view - I think that a lot of people who could benefit from what he has to say, would be turned off by that. Not to say that its a bad thing as he is a devoted Christian (as well as a preacher)and plenty people of faith will be galvanized and inspired by this dynamic young man spiritual leader.

I will definitely put it on the re-read list for further study.

This book is REALLY heavy on the Christianity. I knew going in that it would talk about God and his plan and all that but it was like every other sentence. The book uses the film industry as a metaphor for religion, unfortunately, instead of just detailing how one Christian made it in Hollywood, which would have been more enjoyable and more useful.
