Out of the three Stephen King books I've read (The Stand, The Long Walk, and this one), The Dark Half was my favorite. Granted, it takes a little to get into, but after I got over that hump, I really enjoyed the story. The investigation aspects of this book were well-crafted and is what kept me engaged throughout the story. I will say that a few of the characters' actions seemed forced, serving only to further the plot, but this didn't happen often. I am looking forward to reading more King.

A good read and well-written, but too gruesome for my personal liking. The last chapter made me nauseous.
This is the first time I've read something of Stephen King. What a ride. At first I thought the writing was a bit slow but it is definitely worth it. Every detail I thought was not that important it was at the end. Amazing book, I literally felt everything the last few chapters. It kept me on edge, wanting to read more and more every time. 10/10 RECOMMEND
