“i just don’t want you to ever think that i’m not going to find you. okay?” probably more like 4.5 stars, but it made me cry so much i’m bumping it up to 5. emma mills writes the coziest books, i just want to crawl inside them. i absolutely loved this group of friends, and their small town. it was so vivid and lovely. WOW. i cried because i was sad and then i cried because i was happy!!!!!!
I caught up on a bunch of Emma Mills books all at once so I started to notice the patterns, and unfortunately I felt like this one was the least strong of the batch.

Prob 4.5 stars? This is the second year in a row that I’ve read an Emma Mills book as my first book of the year, and I will do everything in my power to make that happen for future years. It’s the perfect way to start my reading year. I LOVED this. The friend group was so fun and unique, the romance was excellent - all the usual Mills things. I wish there was a little more on the family side but I think the neighbors made up for that. The story felt very quiet for a long time but the last quarter of the book was kind of a whirlwind! Laughed out loud and smiled nonstop like a dummy. Overall, another winner from a fave author.

Loved the friend group in this one so much! There were some fun moments and really emotional ones and overall I really liked the messages portrayed through this book. It was a super fast read and so far both of the books I’ve read by this author I’ve read in one day because I just couldn’t put them down!
