can we just talk about the cover for a second. Like seriously? This is a young adult book not a children's book. A picture of two snowboards would have been better than this, but whatever. The plot was inconsistent annoying and for the most part obnoxious. The idea could have been a really good story but instead it was just not good. Did not like but I wanted to

Funny story :)Love how the title goes both ways

how many times can two people make out then argue and then make out some more and argue some more and then possibly make out some more and have yet another argument—

I really liked this book compared to most any book. However, compared to Jennifer Echol's other book it is probably my least favorite.

If I was Hayden this book would've been 40 pages long. But, I'm not and Hayden is as clueless as it gets.

This certainly wasn't what I expected but it was fun and such a quick read (there were to extracts at the end from other books throwing me off when I reached the end of this).

It was a cute YA read that was a little frustrating at times (so many misunderstandings) but I was cheering Hayden and Nick getting together. You could tell they cared for each other and were just going the long way around about revealing their feelings. I was cheering the girls on because the boys were savage about saying male athletes were better so it was fun having that competition between them too.

Fluffy teen romantic comedy. Cute and smart at the same time.

a nice feel good story. Haven't read one of these in a loong time.

I was just in the mood for something trashy that I would make my way through quickly and my librarian recommended these HarperTeen Romantic Comedies. It worked for something that kept my attention throughout the story and had me moving through it quickly, but it did have some issues. I didn't like that the whole premise of this book rested on the fact that he said girls weren't as good at snowboarding than boys... And then that little statement had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the story. The romance between Hayden and Nick had a lot of good (and a lot of the time sexual) tension, but they always fucking fought! And not like cute fights, they attacked each other with their words and tore each other down. They slipped into it so naturally that I can't imagine they won't fight as an actual couple. Both main characters were dumb. That's not necessarily important, but it seemed worth noting. The other thing that I had an issue with was them being referred to "ex's." Yeah, they technically were, but they are so bitter to each other after they dated and then broke up.... In the SEVENTH GRADE. I'm sorry if I don't consider junior high a serious relationship, but I'm also not sorry at all. All the puns in and promoting the book suggested that they had some heated history, but it was really just them breaking up in seventh grade after she found out she was "just a bet to him," which she actually wasn't and if she had just talked to him about it, it probably would have solved a LOT of problems that they are having now in their junior year of high school. Also, why do her friends want to push them together just because it would complete their friendly six-some. Wouldn't good friends push them together because they thought the two were actually good together, and not just to suit their own needs. I don't know, man, but those were just the issues that it had for me that I wasn't able to overlook, even when it is factored in that this was just a trashy read.
