⚠️Not a full review. Just a placeholder.⚠️
Delilah, the short continuation after Under Your Scars, hit like a whispered aftershock. I read it immediately after the main book (zero impulse control) and flew through it so fast I didn’t stop to actually think or feel.
There’s more I want to sit with. More I need to feel to make peace and wrap it all up fully. So for now, this is just a bookmark. I’ll come back and reread it properly... with less adrenaline and more brain cells.
Until then… just know I felt a lot.🖤
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts, Grief, Death of parent
Moderate: Panic attacks/disorders, Suicide
Minor: Bullying, Murder
Straight up emotional damage premium.

My opinion: I was really exited for this novella, but unfortunately it was just that… a novella with next to no storyline. I get that the first book was the author’s way of coping with her father’s suicide so this novella was likely also her way of acknowledging that she was enough … was I wanted more for Caroline. She deserved more than a shitty encounter with her uncle who thinks his dad didn’t do anything wrong and a quick letter from Christian. Yes, you just read the whole book. You’re welcome. Nothing else really happens, I mean technically yes things so happens but not really and it sucks because it could have been so awesome.
