While this novella felt more like an epilogue, it provided a little bit of closure for readers after UYS. It’s nice having the peace of mind that she was okay later in life and that she was able to find a stable, happy relationship. I think after a life of tragedy, stability and a person who will love you well is really all some can ask for. So while no one from UYS is really able to have a true happily ever after, at least there is some closure in knowing she is able to move forward in life and be as happy she can be.

I may never look at pancakes the same way again. 🥞

🌺 An Under Your Scars Novella
🌺 44 pages
🌺 5 stars
🌺 Summary 🌺
Seventeen years after the events in Under Your Scars, Caroline makes her yearly visit to Meridian City and is taken on a heartbreaking and bittersweet journey that gives her something she's been searching for her entire life: closure.
🌺My Thoughts 🌺
Short, sweet, to the point. I like how this wraps up some loose ends after reading Under Your Scars. This series is not for the faint of heart, its dark, please check triggers. This series does not have a HEA.

Exactly the closure I needed after finishing Under Your Scars. This is a novella so a quick read, but perfect for its intention.

this is book two of under your scars. it's a novella and it is based on Caroline AKA Delilah their daughter and this was perfect. I loved it. was a quick read. it definitely tied up things the way I needed them to tie up and even though book one was not the ending everybody expected. this was the ending everyone needed.
