It is great to see what happened to Caroline. I think both her parents would of been so proud of her. She grew up to a strong smart young women with a big heart. She didn't let the grief and the opinion of the world or her uncles change the love she had for her parents .

I listened to both books as audiobooks, and if you are an audiobook lover like myself, then I highly recommend you do as well! Joe Arden and Lee Daniels did an absolutely phenomenal job portraying the wide range of characters in these books. I truly felt like I was next to these characters throughout both books, seeing, hearing, & feeling everything as they did. I have never felt this emotional or close to characters in a book until now. ๐

The phenomenally talented Lee Daniels and Joe Arden are the perfect duo to give voice to Ms Andersonโs words, they really did this novella the justice it deserved.
Ms Daniels and Mr Arden narrated this novella in duet style, with Lee bringing Caroline to life and Mr Arden voicing Christianโs letter and Garrett in the epilogue. The duo poured every ounce of emotion into their performances, and though it may be a short and speedy listen, these two incredible voice actors gave a masterclass in how to ensure the listeners feel everything the author intended them to feel.
With evocative prose and a compelling storyline, Delilah is an emotional triumph, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who has ever searched for peace amidst turmoil. This novella is a testament to the power of letting go and the strength found in moving forward. Under Your Scars left me utterly broken, and despite being brought to tears again with Carolineโs story, I ultimately found it healing.

I literally had waterworks flowing throughout this entire story. I felt every single emotion I did in ๐ผ๐๐บ, and I was ok....but I wasn't.....but I was. Caroline's journey....I want so bad to tell you all about it but if I do, I will spoil it! The way I needed this closure.....it was epically torturous in the best way!

These two humans lent their talents to the characters and truly transformed the experience into a masterpiece.
