🪻Delilah🪻
By Ariel N. Anderson
5⭐
**Delilah: An Under Your Scars Novella is exactly that. You must read Under Your Scars prior to checking in with sweet Caroline as she searches for answers seventeen years after the tragic events of book 1. If you made it through UYS, 1) I hope you kept that box of tissues at the ready and 2) I’m sure you’re well aware of the dark themes woven throughout this tale. As always, please consider the TWs before diving in. Your mental health is always important 🖤

Oh my fragile, fragile heart. Delilah is a gift, plain and simple. It’s closure so pure, so vital, so paramount. Although I am absolutely still recovering, this novella helped me better process the entirety of UYS. Ariel, I can’t thank you enough for sharing Caroline’s story. I didn’t realize how much I needed to hear it.
Despite the short length, each page is jam packed with bittersweet revelations and heavy emotions, both healing and devastating. I laughed, I cried, and then I cried some more. Ariel’s writing is just so real- unfiltered and wildly immersive. I think that’s why I was so affected by it all. It felt like I was a part of the story. Like I was right there, desperately seeking closure alongside Caro. It’s no wonder my heart still hurts 😅
These characters are important. Their stories are important. Pay no mind to my endless tears and pick up Under Your Scars and Delilah right away! I’ll be here waiting with pancakes, cupcakes, and an extra stack of tissues once you’ve finished 😇🖤

Just like the first book, Under Your Scars, this novella made me cry and it hurt so much. But Caroline did get closure eventually and it was nice to see some sort of HEA for her. Definitely recommend reading Under Your Scars and this novella afterwards. This story will forever stay with me.
