It reads like fan fiction. I may have enjoyed it more had I not expected it to be remotely near the level of the original trilogy. A couple of interesting ideas and ok plot, but hampered considerably by eye-roll-inducing "reveals", terrible dialogue and generally weak writing.

A great supplement for the series. I found the start slow, but the rest of the book was captivating.
