This one was so bittersweet to get through. Because the start was so good and the end was so good but the middle just felt like things were moving along too quickly. I have nothing against that but sometimes I'd forgotten where the characters were because they'd moved from one scene to another so quickly. The last couple of chapters were so good though!

I think not actually having seen the movie affected my judgement on it so I really want to get a couple of the other Twisted Tales series just to see if I enjoy them more.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. It was an interesting take on a classic Disney tale. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Phillip or Aurora, but it was nice to see Aurora especially grow and change as the story went on.

A darker rendition of Sleeping Beauty. For some reason, Aurora really annoyed me throughout the book. I was hoping to like this book more than I did because I love the movie. This twisted tale was just okay to me.
