The protagonist, Norman was a fun character to follow the narrative with.

His analysis of the situation and his fellow crew member is very entertaining while leaving you in a constant state of mystery.

The book in general is a thrilling mystery novel that feeds you mysteries, resolves them and then creates more mysteries.

A very fun novel to read for any alien mystery enjoyers.

This is a fun mixture of science fiction, underwater horror, and psychological thriller. Though the characters are a bit on the nose with incredibly annoying stereotypes I could have done without, the plot clips along and it's quite the unique take on alien contact. Very enjoyable!
