Locke & Key is officially one of my favorite series. I cannot express enough the chemistry that takes place between the plot, characters, setting, and the immense amount of magic woven throughout. Joe Hill is a masterful storyteller; this is my first time reading anything by him, but I hope to read more of his work soon. Gabriel Rodriguez's stunning artwork contributes greatly to this story. There were many times throughout this series when the panels gave me goosebumps.

You must give this series a try. If you love horror, graphic novels, or fantasy, I would highly suggest this for you. Even if you don't read that stuff, STILL give this a try because I could not put the series down once I started. I'm trying to gather my thoughts for a full review on each volume, but the whole series works as a 5 star review.

P.S. I enjoyed the nod that Joe Hill gave to his dad via Carrie. Great touch.

THIS SERIES!!!! Perfect conclusion to one of the greatest comic series I've read. All the questions are answered, everything is wrapped up, my eyes hurt from crying, and all is right with the world. It's dark, gut wrenching, and absolutely perfect. It could not have ended any better. I'm really hoping that the Netflix adaptation does this series justice because everything about Locke & Key is perfection. Thank you Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez for taking me on this ride. It's everything I never knew I wanted!
