This book has literally changed my life.

Kelly Bishop is a great writer and I'm glad I was able to hear her story. I think she was a great Emily and I was glad to learn more about her.

EDIT: I just remembered that I didn't add my full opinions about this book. I do think that Kelly's tone throughout this book does come off as a very arrogant one and even entitled sometimes which was quite sad because I always thought Emily Gilmore was such an icon throughout the Gilmore Girls show. I just love that show and I wish more of that was in the novel. I also don't like her romanticisation of abortion (that's obviously a personal opinion) but I definitely don't think it was a coincidence that the book was published when it was. I think the idea of abortion is abhorrent especially when a married couple engages in this and I think it went against the Gilmore Girls show in which we have a teen mother who is still able to provide and love her daughter. Was it interesting to hear more about Kelly Bishop? Yes, it was. Did I think it was what I expected? No. Oh yeah, and she get's into an affair and she barely apologises for her behaviour. I had no problem with the writing but it was the content of this book that I had a problem with. Wow, I think this is the longest review I've ever written :)

It really wasn't what I expected, but it was really interesting if you love this actress or are interested in the entertainment industry
