The writing style was great, it didn’t drop in quality at all
I didn’t like the fact that we knew who the killer was from the very start
Overall nothing special but a cute beach read

Mary Higgins Clark books are easy, quick reads with some thrills, some twists, and some good suspense. This one does all of that, just not quite as well as her previous books. This one felt a bit rushed and leaned a bit too much on coincidence for my tastes. Still worth reading, but not a good place to start.

Probably one of my favorite books ever! So captivating and really keeps you guessing until the end.

Scénario sympa mais récit lassant et personnages trop superficiels

Forgot this one was part of my spree. Still holds up my evil doctor theory. Very weird

Clearing out some old books for Nancy to take to her beach house. If I saved it, I probably liked it. But I'm unlikely to every read it again.

MHC seems to be confused about which pieces of the CJS complete which parts of the investigative process. I'm also concerned about meats and cheeses being left out of the refrigerator for undisclosed lengths of time before being consumed.
