This really was the perfect little novella to read with my morning coffee. Even though I haven't started the Boudreaux series, I didn't feel lost reading this novella as it's listed as 1.5 in that series and 8.5 in the With Me In Seattle series. Usually in novella with fresh characters the insta love can be kind of cringe worthy, but not with this story. The pacing, chemistry and sexual tension was off the charts. And it was an awesome suspense and murder mystery as well. Can't wait to fully dig into the Boudreaux series!

These are so easy to fly through and I have zero regrets.

Easy with You was actually from a series that I started. No idea if I ever finished it but details. in it, you will meet Lila and Asher. They were cute and all but seriously - this book was so freaking short. I honestly wished it was longer or an actual book because they were so likable. Any relationship that starts from a one night stand and then becomes more is highly entertaining. Especially when fake names are involved and they both live in the same time (conveniently).

Yet, this book had the one night stand but nothing was exchanged between both parties. It was definitely a shell shock for when they are reunited. Not even going to mention the random people being murdered because I feel like this review will become complicated (my poor brain needs more coffee).

Long story short, definitely dive into this and the series.

I am a big fan of this series, and Easy With You does such a great job of crossing over the Boudreaux and With Me in Seattle series by Kristen Proby. Asher had been introduced in Tied with Me (he's Matt's partner) and Lila in Easy Love (she's Kate's best friend), and right from the beginning, these two are awesome together!

I highly recommend not just this book, but both of these series!

**I've also listened to the audio, and I love getting back to Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer!

This novella was a fun addition to both the Boudreaux and With Me in Seattle series. This is more of a romantic suspense and I really enjoyed it. Asher was Matt Montgomery's partner in Seattle and I really enjoyed that tie in. This book was short and kept me engaged - I read it in one sitting. I loved the romantic suspense aspect. I can't wait to read the next full-length book in the With Me in Seattle series.

In this crossover between the With Me In Seattle series and The Boudreaux series, we follow Lila Bailey (Kate's best friend from book 1) who's recently moved to the Big Easy. She's led a hard life and she's had to fight for everything that she has. She's usually ultra responsible, with her only "transgression" being a one night stand with a man she met on a plane and then again in New Orleans at a bar. It seemed like kismet.
She's a professor at Tulane now and putting down roots in this new city with her friend Kate to help her. To her horror, a seríal killër is attacking her students. When the detective assigned to the case comes to interview her, she's shocked to see that it's Asher, the man who made her toes curl last year.
Asher moved to New Orleans in an attempt to have a fresh start for him and his little girl after the tragic loss of his wife years ago. He's pleasantly surprised to see Lila, the woman who haunted his dreams. And she's in danger.
This is a short audiobook but it packs a punch. It's definitely not very suspense-y or mysterious (you can tell who the killër is from the very beginning) but the romance is fun.
Nice narration by Jennifer Mack and Eric Michael Summerer.
Possible triggers: loss of spouse (off page), violënce, graphic description of a crimë scene, kidnápping, törture

I love the connection between the With You and this series. Haha that was a bit unexpected because I didn't know beforehand. But to say this, I didn't feel much of a connection between the two main characters because this is a novella and it was short. It moved to fast and their relationship developed way to fast.

It was such a light read, I finished it in a few hours. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a fast read and you like romance, of course.
Kristen Proby is such a master at writing cheesy romance and I love it.
Spoiler Colin being the killer was kind of predictable. I don't know if it was my instinct or Proby is not the best at writing mystery (no offense, dear, I love your books)

If you read Tied with Me (With Me in Seattle #6), you already knew Asher. And if you read Easy Love (Boudreaux #1), you already knew Lila. I loved them both and I just couldn't help myself but laugh at the fact that Kristen Proby actually made two different characters from two different series meet and fall in love.
Yeah, they fell in love fast, but this time I didn't mind at all. Oh, and the appearance of Matt and Nic from Tied with Me was so unexpected and I was fangirling so much.
