This collection of poems did not disappoint. Love the concise and clear language. The poet tackles a range of issues that will resonate with many people. My favorite is "The Hurting Kind," it made me think of my own family's immigration story, how we have come so far but lost so much.

Lovely as always. Earthy grounded reflective poetry. Perfect bites of life, death, animals, plants, and being a human.

U.S. Poet Laureate Ada Limón newest poetry collection is doubly incredible as the author performs her own work. Listen to it if you can!

“love ends. but what if it doesn’t?”

*sobs uncontrollably*

Some of the best of hers I’ve read yet. This collection is more full of the type of melancholy and longing that I have been living with lately so it hit close to home. Ada Limón is a highly skilled poet who will never cease to amaze me.
