A really well written book about the Agnew Corruption case. I listened to the podcast about this subject and enjoyed the extra details in the book. While everyone knows about Watergate, not as much is know about this case. The book is easy to read and to follow the timeline. If you like politics and American History, I recommend reading Bag Man.

[3.25 stars] Where's the "All the President's Men"-style movie about Barney Skolnik, Tim Baker, Ron Liebman, and George Beall?
It was a little dry and not specific enough at times, but this might be my bias since this is the first non-fiction book that I've read this year. Sometimes, I could really hear Maddow's voice - especially in the introduction - but it lost some steam afterward. Overall, it was a good, pretty okay summary. The name drops - George Bush Sr! - got me.
In a sentence: history doesn't repeat itself; it rhymes. Right, lads?

About VP Spiro Agnew’s downfall in 1973 and its spooky parallels to the recent impeachment scandal. The podcast that came first is addictive (with clips from the Nixon tapes to illustrate each and every incredible claim, including Agnew’s fear that Nixon was going to have him bumped off!). This book expands on the podcast enjoyably.
