The world building was really hard to follow, but I think it’s because too much time has passed since I read the first book. NONETHELESS this was wonderfully intricate and the characters have an incredible amount of depth.

A friend recommended I keep reading the series even though I was a bit disappointed after the first book. She was totally right in that the sequel was amazing! I love the characters and world and can’t wait to see what happens next!
