Wow! Really enjoyed this one and it didn’t feel too repetitive from the first one. There are new conflicts and loved the 5 year time jump

I really love this world and the characters within it. It’s written brilliantly with deep, complex and interesting characters.
Due to the book’s size I went between audio and print for this (as I did with the first one) and the narrator is excellent.
I now await the third one and find myself missing Nahri, Ali, and the others.

I absolutely devoured the audiobook, this was so so so good!!! It builds on everything in the first book extremely well, unraveling some mysteries and threading new ones into the mix that keeps you hooked! This world is so incredible I daydream about quitting my day job and adapting this into a script for an animated series.
Waaaahhhhh!!! So much happened! The first part was slow but the last 200 pages are a sprint! Very glad to see how some characters are developing- can't wait for book 3
This. was. amazing!! I am stilling reeling from that ending! I was an emotional mess for hours afterwards. JUST UUUUGGGHHHH! Must read next book now!
