Fun, stylish sci-fi. Thelma & Louise meets Kill Bill meets Guardian of the Galaxy.

This is another Mark Millar creation that has issue 1 free on Comixology Unlimited. The first issue didn't create a feeling where I wanted to read the rest right away. I was intrigued at first of course but I was not excited like I was with The Magic Order series. Matteo Scalera's artwork is always superb and it brought to life the story with his detailed yet fast pacing. I highly recommend this book if you wanted to read Mark Millar's sci-fi universe, which I've heard a live-action adaptation is in the works with Netflix.

Thank you to the publisher for sharing this ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Yep, this is the stuff. This is what I'm looking for in a comic. Two badass lady space bandits on a quest for vengeance... what more could you ask for?
After reading The Magic Order by the same author I was looking for something to tide me over until the next volume is released. Namely I was looking for fun, ridiculous plots and morally-questionable characters and some dry, sarcastic banter to top it all off. This fit the bill. The art is brilliant and cyberpunk, full of neons, sharp angles and plenty of the outrageous 80s styling we've come to appreciate in the 2000s. There was just the right amount of comic book violence. By which I mean, there's a lot, this book could double as a textbook for blood splatter forensics.
All this to say this really hit the spot, I'm glad I picked it up and will definitely be grabbing future volumes.
The eighties didn't reach the midwest until the nineties. Think how long they took to get to space
