The audiobook was great at capturing that teen voice without feeling weird.  Would recommend consuming that way.

If not for Veronica's character bugging the complete shit out of me, i would have given this book a 5 out of 5. I normally don't cry at books (especially when my suspicions were confirmed) so this one really surprised me. I already got the second book, beside me so i'm excited to read more!

Felt like it was going to be a fast paced adventure with action, and solving the who dun it in fun YA Queer Magical setting, but unfortunately it was slow paced lacking action to drive the plot and focused on the teenage drama rather than character building and the plot
